This photograph arrived in quite a sorry state. It was firmly stuck to the back of the glass mount which had broken into several pieces and only held together by the photograph itself.
Fortunately the face was relatively undamaged and could be cut free of the glass.
The separate pieces were scanned individually and jig-sawed back together again.
All the cuts and joins were repaired and the final picture is as good as new.
